His QI colleague has admitted to taking the drug in a huge number of places, but not in front of the curly-haired sidekick.
Essex comic and TV personality Alan Davies brought his new stand-up show to Dublin last week and now you'll find him chatting up a storm in the Hot Press Annual 2015.
Talking everything from QI's universal appeal to his beloved Arsenal finally ending their trophy drought this year, he also opens up about his colleague and friend Stephen Fry.
Fry hit the headlines this year for another typically candid confession in the latest installment of his memoirs, aptly entitled More Fool Me. He revealed he has snorted cocaine in British establishments including Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, swanky hotels the Ritz, Savoy, Claridges and the Dorchester, the BBC and more.
"I’ve never seen Stephen take cocaine and I can say that quite honestly," Davies says. "I’ve seen a few people take cocaine in my life, but Stephen is not one of them. It’s a period of his life that he’s put behind him. It’s an ugly drug. I hate the stuff.
"The only one of his autobiographies that I’ve read is the first one, Moab Is My Washpot, which is brilliant and an amazing book. I had a little browse through The Fry Chronicles. A lot of it is very close to home, because so much of it is about comedy and comedians and all that. What I tend to do is to have a flick through, see if I’m in it, and if I’m not, I’ll buy something else."
