Adele leads Ivor Novello nods
There are also nominations for Florence + The Machine, Lana Del Rey, PJ Harvey, Ed Sheeran and more...
In what is perhaps no great surprise, Adele leads the way in the nominations for the 57th Ivor Novello Awards, with the 21 singer shortlisted for four awards.
Last year saw Villagers' frontman Conor J. O'Brien pick up the gong in the 'Best Song Musically and Lyrically' category for 'Becoming A Jackal' but this year sees a complete absence of Irish talent. Elsewhere there are potential winners in the form of Take That, Nero and Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood, with his score for We Need To Talk About Kevin shortlisted.
