The adored post-rock trio have hinted on Twitter that they will soon be no more.
We were already eagerly anticipating Adebisi Shank's two shows in Whelan's this week anyway, but it seems they will now be very special occasions indeed. Extremely bittersweet as well. Taking to Twitter yesterday, the Shank confirmed that the Thursday and Friday shows will be the last two gigs they ever play in Ireland.
It suggests the trio, who released their third album, the typically brilliant This Is The Third Album Of A Band Called Adebisi Shank, only last month, are calling it a day. Read our recent interview with the band's Vinny McCreith here.
