AC/DC drummer sees murder charge dropped
Lack of evidence leads to abrupt drop
The charge of murder-for-hire against AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd was suddenly dropped yesterday, as the intended hitman dismissed the claims against the musician as "hot air".
The music world was stunned yesterday when the veteran rocker as accused by authorities of threatening to kill one person and attempting to hire another in order to kill two more.
While the dropped charge will come as a relief to Rudd - and AC/DC fans everywhere - he still faces charges of possessing drugs and threatening to kill.
