AC/DC debut at No. 1
AC/DC's new album has debuted at number one in 29 countries including Ireland where it's trailed by Kings Of Leon's Only By The Night and Boyzone's Back Again… No Matter What.
Industry experts reckon that 10 million copies of Black Ice will be sold before 2008's done.
Likely to rival it in the global unit-shifting stakes is Chinese Democracy, Guns N' Roses long overdue new album, which is out here on November 21.
The much-leaked opus features 'Chinese Democracy', 'Shackler's Revenge', 'Better', 'Street Of Dreams', 'If The World', 'There Was A Time', 'Catcher N' The Rye', 'Scraped', 'Riad N' The Bedouins', 'Sorry', 'I.R.S.', ' 'Madagascar', 'This I Love' and 'Prostitute'. You can get a (legal) preview of the title-track here.
With the Gunners planning a 2009 World Tour, don't be surprised if we get an open air eyeful of Axl next year.
