The Lexicon of Love show is on its way to Dublin
ABC bring their Lexicon Of Love show to the Dublin Olympia on November 15, with tickets priced €45.05 on sale on Friday July 8.
34-years after recording the original Lexicon…, Martin Fry has completed a sequel that offers a less innocent, more experienced view on affairs of the heart.
One thing that remains the same is the swooping, soaring, shimmer nature of the Sheffield lounge lizard’s pop.
The video for lead single ‘Viva Love’ has been produced by Julian Temple who also shooting the Keith Richards-fronted The Origin Of The Species for BBC4.
“There was a feeling in the late ‘50s/early ‘60s that there was a change coming,” the Rolling Stone says in the film, which will air next month.
“Harold Macmillan actually said it – ‘The winds of change’ and all that – but he didn’t mean it in quite the same way. I certainly felt that my generation and what was happening and the feeling in the air… it was its time to push limits. The world is ours now and you can rise or fall on it.”
In addition to the documentary, Keef is curating a “lost weekend” of films and live performances.
We’re definitely staying in those nights!
