KC announced as Today FM's new lunchtime presenter

He makes the move from his evening slot to replace the departing Ray Foley.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 23 Oct 2012

He's been winning PPI awards left, right and centre for a number of years, gained a good following for his KC At Night slot, and proved immensely popular when filling in for the likes of Ian Dempsey, Ray D'Arcy and Ray Foley. Now Keith Cunningham is making the move to afternoons on Today FM.

It has just been announced that the DJ will fill the void left by Ray Foley (who is taking over 98FM's breakfast slot) and, from November 12, will host Today FM's New Lunchtime Show.

Of the appointment, KC says: "I am just blown away I will have a lunchtime show on the biggest national independent station in the country. I was so excited and can’t wait to get stuck in and bring my own stamp to lunchtimes. I’d like to thank Ray & JP for the opportunity their departure has presented and wish them the very best of luck in their new venture. I’ll do you proud guys.”
