Mumford & Sons still at No. 1

Muse are hot on the Londoners' heels...

UK alt. folk act Mumford & Sons have held onto the top spot of the Irish chart with sophomore album Babel.

At No. 2 this week is Muse, who have just released The 2nd Law (see review in our current issue), while Damien Dempsey is a also a new entry at No. 3 with Almighty Love. We meet the Dublin bard in our next issue.

Dropping two places to No. 4 is hip hop/pop trio The Script with (confusingly)#3, while US singer Pink completes the top five with latest offering The Truth About Love.

Meanwhile, The xx are still at No. 1 in the indie chart with the excellent Coexist.
