The Hot Press Newsdesk, 24 Aug 2012

Liverpool-formed but Irish-rooted duo The Lost Brothers have announced they will release their new album, The Passing Of The Night, on September 21.

The album was produced by Brendan Benson, with whom The Lost Brothers toured on some of his Irish shows after they caught his ear in 2011. It was recorded in five days in an old record plant outside Nashville, which the group described as "an extremely inspiring environment".

Tracklisting for the new album:

1. Not Now Warden, 2. Bird in a Cage, 3. Send Me Off To Sleep, 4. Far Side, 5. Now That The Night Has Come, 6. Widow Maker, 7. Tumbling Line, 8. Blinding Glow, 9. Blue Moon in September, 10. Hey Miss Fannie, 11. Until the Morning

The Lost Brothers are playing today at the Tall Ships Festival in Dublin. Tomorrow they head to the Tara Rocks Festival in County Meath. They are also due to play at the Spirit of Folk Festival on September 21.

The group has also recently been invited by Glen Hansard to be special guests on his forthcoming tour of the US.
