Allen is coming over for a Galway Mayo IT talk.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 14 Aug 2012

Former Gang Of Four man – and therefore post-punk royalty – Dave Allen is the keynote speaker on September 14 as the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology plays host to #Cloudbusting: Dispelling The Myth Of The Cloud.

In addition to musical duties, Allen is Director of Interactive Strategy at North, Inc and a lecturer in Digital Brand Strategy at the University of Oregon.

He’s joined by dozens of fellow techies whose experience ranges from Microsoft to successful Irish start-ups.

The Kelly’s Bar after-show features Sive, Twin Terrace and recent Hot Press interviewees I’m Your Vinyl.
