Thus spoke Tom Waits as he ended a week-long wait full of dropped hints and discussion amongst fans as to what his big announcement could possibly be. Well, turns out it's not a tour. It's not even new music.
What we have on our hands is a new video for 'Hell Broke Luce', a track from the growler's acclaimed Bad As Me album.
The tiniest bit underwhelming after all that, the promo is still typically, darkly brilliant.
Directed by Matt Mahurin, it posits Waits as a soldier forced to drag his entire house back to his homeland. Check it out now below.
