Therapy?'s Andy Cairns shares his fave albums

The band perform in Dublin later this month...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 07 Aug 2012

Northern rockers Therapy? have been basking in the glow of this year's excellent album A Brief Crack Of Light, which garnered rave reviews and is going down a treat on the road. Currently on tour on the continent, the boys are gearing up for an appearance at this year's Tall Ship's Race on August 25.

'Til then, feast your eyes on this little lot...

1. Nu-Kle-Er Blast Suntan: Blot Out the Worthless Sun

"Great punk record with frenetic base and drums and brilliantly unhinged guitar playing."

2. Dean Blunt & Inga Copeland: Black Is Beautiful

"A real heat haze of a record. Bizarre shimmering melodies. Gets better with each listen."

3. The Boston Strangler: Primitive

"Amazing hardcore album. Great raw sound and energy and attitude for days."

4. Arctic Flowers: Reveries

"I love this band, they’re from Portland and manage to chuck Siouxsie, Gang of Four and classic anarcho punk into the mix, all with a dash of Husker Du fury."

5. Siouxsie & The Banshees: Ju Ju

"I have come back to this album again after a long time away. The guitar playing of the late John McGeogh is so inspiring and every tune is fantastic."
