Genre Free gig for The Button Factory

Six bands, two stages, one Temple Bar venue...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 02 May 2012

The Button Factory is host on May 21 to the official launch of Genre Free, a free six-act, 12-track download album, which Hot Press has produced in association with NDT Productions and Dublin’s Sound Training Centre.

Jam-packed with new Irish music, its bounteous delights include Kid Karate, The Dirty 9s, Izzy Quinn, Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters, Fredrick and The Golden Dawn and The Fibbs who’ll all be performing on the night.

There’ll be two stages, meaning no let up in the music. See hotpress.com for details of how you can obtain free tickets. Button Factory hooley done ‘n’ dusted, the search will start for the next six acts who’ll get to record free in the STC and grace Genre Free 2.
