Watch: New Beach Boys single unveiled
Brian Wilson has rejoined the legendary West Coast group.

The lawsuits, and the torrid time Brian Wilson had towards the end of his first spell in The Beach Boys would now appear to be water under the bridge, as the pop genius has rejoined Mike Love, Al Jardine and Bruce Johnston for a reunion of sorts (Carl and Dennis Wilson are sadly no longer with us).
"It's a sentimental thing for me," says Brian Wilson. "We've been together 50 years – that's a long time."
Mike Love: "Conceptually, the album is not going to be anything outlandish or silly, like Smiley Smile. It will be like the Beach Boys circa '65. I'm trying to write lyrics that fit the music without making it sound like you're writing from a hospice."
You can hear a preview of the first fruits of their labour below – 'That's Why God Made The Radio' is typical Beach Boys right down to the title, and will be the first single from their forthcoming album.
