Pay*ola - new album
Belfast band Pay*ola will launch their second album – Optimism Will Destroy Me – at the Empire Music Hall this month
The album is the fruit of three years labour, and the follow-up to debut Try Everything Twice. The new 10-track collection was recorded at Co. Antrim’s Manor Park Studios with producer Neal Calderwood – a long-time Pay*ola collaborator. The album contains the cream of Pay*ola’s last 2 EP releases, along with a clutch of brand new tunes.
The boys, who have previously released records on the Good Vibrations and Tomcat Records labels will be handling this album on their own Pay*ola Records imprint.
The album launch takes place in Belfast's Empire Music Hall on Thursday April 22, with support from Belfast rock/punk act The Dangerfields, fast-rising funksters The Dead Presidents and melodic rock outfit Redlight. Admission is £5
