U2 scotch Irish gig rumours
The band have issued not one, but two denials.
U2 have once again ruled out the possibility of them playing more Irish shows this year, even if their Songs Of Ascent album does get released in June.
First of all, their tour promoter Arthur Fogel said, “In case you’re wondering, all of U2’s 2010 European shows are now announced. Recent rumours, like Dublin and Tel Aviv, are unfounded.”
With that failing to dampen media speculation, U2 have issued another statement stating: “The band will not be playing gigs at Dublin’s O2 or Docklands as is being reported.”
