Phantom announce details for I-con's Next Big Thing

Phantom 105.2 are urging acts to send in their demos with two sample tracks to them before July 1 to see if they have what it takes to be I-Con's Next Big Thing.

The competition will begin on July 17 in Andrew's lane Theatre with a series of five heats.

Shows will take place on the third Friday of every month and four acts will play to their adoring fans and a panel of judges.
The judges will select a winner from each heat who will then go through to the final on December 11.

The winner will get a prize fund which includes equipment from MusicMaker, five days of rehearsal time in Troubadour Rehearsal Studios, a professional photo shoot with Photolounge Music, a CD Print Run of 400 CDs with Budgetmedia.ie, three days studio with Guineapig Studios, a promo video with Giggidy.tv, an interview & Session on ICON and a highly coveted spot on the First Friday line up in 2010.
