Sharon Corr's solo album nears completion
You can see her at work in the studio.
Sharon Corr has been talking about the recording of her debut solo album on her website.
“I’ve just finished another great week in the studio,” she reports. “Laid down four more tracks – two trad (which are rocking), and two songs, ‘Ears Painted On’ (a new track of mine) and a cover of ‘Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime’ by The Korgis. Had a lot of fun and laughs in the studio. So, we’re getting closer to the finish line!”
Sharon’s also buzzed up by the reception she got earlier this month at the Isle of Wight festival.
“Apart from a million butterflies in my tummy, I had a fab time. It was sooooo much fun to be back on stage, singing, playing and getting great feedback from the audience. The acoustic stage was quite magical. There’s absolutely nothing to compare to the buzz you feel on stage and the beautiful harmony between people working together to create something special. Thanks to all the band for being so wonderful!”
Next up on Sunday is an appearance at Glastonbury.
