Paula Flynn receives Uaneen Fitzsimons Award
The honey larynxed Miss Paula Flynn donned her gowns this week to receive the 2008 Uaneen Fitzsimons Award at Dublin City University.
Designed by John Rocha, and instituted by Uaneen’s family to preserve her memory in the wake of her tragic death in a car crash in 2000, the award is for outstanding contribution to Communications Studies.
Flynn, who’s currently juggling her DCU studies with Jinx Lennon band duties and recording her debut solo album, was presented with the gong by Uaneen’s sister, Sharon.
