St. Petersburg comes to Dublin with Russian culture festival
A four-day celebration of Russian Culture will begin in Dublin on May 13.
Russian culture comes to Dublin next week with a special programme of events.
The Rimsky-Korsakov String Quartet will perform twice during the festival, at the Hugh Lane Gallery on May 13 (12.30-2pm) and 14 (3-5pm).
There will also be lectures on the Russian 'Silver Age' and the Irish 'Celtic Revival', a number of documentaries about St. Petersburg on show and a photo exhibition entitled Views of St Petersburg and its suburbs.
The festival takes place in a number of city centre venues including the Hugh Lane Gallery, Parnell Square; the Chester Beatty Library, Dublin Castle; the Davis Theatre, Trinity College; the Atrium, Wood Quay.
