Eddy Grant announces a July date in Dublin
Eddy Grant is on his way to Ireland, but tragically not to Waterford’s Electric Avenue.
Instead, him and The Frontline Orchestra are paying a July 14 visit to the Dublin Academy, with tickets priced €29.50 on sale this Friday.
Having debuted in the late ‘60s with The Equals – a band beloved of The Clash who covered their Police On My Back – Grant went on to become one of the most successful solo reggae artists of all time.
He’s also produced the likes of Sting, Mick Jagger and Elvis Costella, and was at the vanguard of the anti-apartheid movement.
