De La Soul for Soundtrack 08

Grammy Award winners, De La Soul, have been added to the lineup for this years Soundtrack 08. They’ll join 45 acts, over 9 days at the Harcourt Street venues. De La Soul are scheduled for May 25 at Tripod. Tickets are 24 Euro standing or 28.50 Euro seated.

Also added to the bill are Noah and The Whale who will play Crawdaddy on Monday May 26. Doors are at 8pm with tickets at 14 Euro. Also taking to the stage will be Ruby Suns on Friday May 30th, along with Brooklyn experimentalists Telepathe, who make their Dublin debut. Tickets are 14 Euro and doors are at 8pm.

Headlining the May 30th event in Crawdaddy are Australians electronic pioneers, PNAU, who will be supported by Grovesnor. Doors are at 11pm with tickets priced at 15 Euro.

If that wasn’t enough for you, Wildbeasts will support The Maccabees with singer Hayden Thorpe also making his debut at Tripod on May 29. Bon Iver will be supported by Get Well Soon in Crawdaddy on Monday June 2nd. Bang Gang DJ’s will play a late show in Crawdaddy on Sunday May 25 at 11pm. Tickets are TBC.

Bodytonic Club have also annouced three acts in the shape of French Euro beat, Radioclit (May 29, 11pm, tickets 8/6 Euro), Simbad & Zed Bias (May 30, 11pm, tickets 10/5 Euro) and We Smoke Fags will play at live set on May 31 (11pm, tickets 14/10 Euro). DJ Sasha will return to Tripod on Friday May 30 (11pm, tickets E33.50).

Also a first for Pod Concerts, is an Access All Areas event where the lineup is to be announced. This will take place on June 1 @ 10pm. Tickets are 22.50 Euro and the event is over 18’s.
