New festival for Waterford
Luan Parle, Ilya K, Juno Falls and the Chapters are among the acts lined up for the 2008 Element Festival, which takes place near Waterford in August.
The yet-to-be-announced location for the two-day festival will allow camping and acts will play on two stages across Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17, with the campgrounds opening on Friday 15.
Organisers say the main headliners have yet to be announced, but acts already confirmed to make an appearance include Luan Parle (pictured above), Prison Love, The Blims, Joe Cleere, Floyd Soul & The Wolf, Junah, Dae Kim, The Beat Poets, Gorbachov, Ilya K, Hoarse Box, Saving J, The Creaks, Juno Falls, Alan Kavanagh, 21 Outs, Ikea Boy Jaded Sun and the Chapters.
Tickets for the Element Festival go on sale from February 1 from Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets will be €54.80 plus service charge for the weekend, or €34.80 plus service charge for a day ticket.
