Sadness after death at Electric Picnic

23-year-old John Fitzpatrick, a student nurse from Healy’s Bridge, Carrigrohane in County Cork, was found unconscious during the previous night’s Chemical Brothers performance.
Attempts by paramedics to revive him proved unsuccessful, and he was later pronounced dead at Portlaoise General Hospital.
Although the cause of death won’t be known until the completition of a post mortem today, Monday September 3, Gardaí have ruled out foul play.
