Rolling Stones Slane line-up announced

The Bigger Bang day pans out as follows:
12 noon – Car parks open
2.30 – Venue gates open
3.30 – Frankie Gavin
4.30 – Tinariwen
5.45 – The Hold Steady
7 – The Charlatans
8 – The Rolling Stones
Before you ask, Tinariwen are a Malian combo who’ve rather wonderfully been described as “the Clash of the Sahara” and will be plugging their Aman Iman album.
As previously reported on hotpress.com, The Hold Steady also stick around for gigs in Dolan’s, Limerick (19) and Tennent’s Vital, Belfast (21).
