2fm announce Eurosonic competition winner

18-year-old Ballinasloe native Heather Duncan and a friend are bound for Groningen in Holland this week after winning the RTÉ 2fm competition to attend the Eurosonic showcase festival.
“I still can’t believe I won the 2fm competition – my friends are so jealous!” Heather enthuses. “I’m excited about seeing And So I Wach You From Afar, Imelda May, Delorentos, the XX and generally soaking up the festival atmosphere.”
As previously reported in Hot Press, ASIWYFA’s set goes out live at 9pm on Friday January 15 as part of Dan Hegarty’s 2fm show. HP will also be in the thick of the action, so look forward to a ringside report in our issue out on January 28th.
