2fm Hope For 2009 shortlist announced

The nominees have been announced for the RTÉ 2fm Hope For 2009, which will be presented on March 17 as part of the Meteor Ireland Music Awards.
Getting dickie-bowed up for the occasion will be Autumn Owls, Fred, House Of Cosy Cushions, James Vincent McMorrow and Wallis Bird.
The public vote takes place between February 23 and March 6 on the www.rte.ie/2fm website.
To help you make your mind UP, Rick O’Shea and Nikki Hayes’ shows between February 23 and 27 will feature tracks from all of the aforementioned.
Playing live at the RDS ceremony, which is being hosted by Amanda Byram, are
Boyzone, Stereophonics, The Blizzards, Sharon Shannon with Mundy, Imelda May and more yet to be confirmed.
