Amy Winehouse’s Oxegen appearance in doubt
There are fears that Amy Winehouse may not appear at this weekend’s Oxegen festival as planned, after she cancelled a UK gig last night.
The ‘Rehab’ singer failed to appear at her Liverpool Summer Pops show at Aintree yesterday (July 4), and now fears for her health have put a question mark over her coming Irish date.
There’s no official word yet, but a source quoted on music news site Gigwise says that Winehouse is currently in hospital.
Mysterious illness or sprained ankle, we know not, but fingers crossed it’s nothing serious.
Amy’s next gig is at T in the Park on Saturday July 7, and, until we hear otherwise, she’s still down to play Oxegen on the 8th.
