Paranoid Visions gear up for UK attack
Thanks to a newly inked licensing deal with Code7, Paranoid Visions’ 40 Shades Of Gang Green album gets a UK release on July 2.
“The deal gives us 100% autonomy,” they enthuse. “We can effectively release whatever we want, whenever we want in whatever format we feel like.”
The band have also sorted out fresh distribution for here and the UK with punk specialists Plastichead, which, they continue, “is particularly gratifying as the band’s current Irish distributors could stop the spread of AIDS by offering to distribute it.”
Also upcoming is the August release of ‘Rock N Roll Revolution’, a one-sided 12”, which will be housed in a Crass-influenced sleeve and re-mixed by Scary Eire legend DJ Mek.
Catch the boys – and girl – when they visit Sarsfield’s, Drogheda (June 2); Voodoo, Dublin (23 + Sonic Boom Six); Leechrum Festival, Roscommon (August 6); Rebellion Festival, Blackpool (11); and Market Tavern, Birmingham (30 + Pain & Dirty Love).
