Bloc Party confirm album details + tour
Bloc Party have confirmed a visit to the Dublin Ambassador.
They're due to play a post-Valentine’s bash on February 16.
The show coincides with the release of A Weekend In The City, the band’s eagerly awaited second album, which was partially assembled in Westmeath’s Grouse Lodge Studio.
According to our spy – a certain Mr. G. Lightbody of Glasgow – “The bits I’ve heard are so different to Silent Alarm it almost sounds like another band – but in an entirely good way. It’s astounding.”
Tickets for the gig go on sale on October 27 - and with a day off before the Ambassador date, we can only hope that the London foursome will be tempted enough to throw on another show for their Irish fans.
