Director announce headline UK tour
On the back of this week's release of 'Reconnect', Malahide four-piece Director are launching an eastwards attack in May.
No strangers to the way of the UK, having toured there as Hard-Fi's support last year, Michael Moloney & co venture out on their own, scattering in a couple of Dublin shows for good measure. The dates are as follows:
3 May - Exeter Cavern Club
4 - Aldershot West End Centre
5 - Tunbridge Wells Forum
6 - Harlow The Square
8 - Oxford Zodiac
10 - Dublin YSI Festival
11 - York Uni
12 - Dublin Trinity Ball
14 - Edinburgh (venue tbc)
15 - Glasgow Barfly
16 - Carlisle Brickyard
17 - Stockton Georgian Theatre
18 - London Barfly
Their debut single is set to make an appearance in this week's top 10 in Ireland, having been chosen as Ian Dempsey's single of the week on Today FM, and touted by our very own Steve Cummins as "one of the most exciting pieces of guitar music to come out of Ireland since The Edge struck the last chord of ‘Out Of Control’".
