Headgear ink publishing deal
Daragh Dukes, aka Headgear, has signed a publishing deal with Big Life Music Publishing.
The company is run by Jazz Summers and Tim Parry whose managerial charges include Badly Drawn Boy, Futureheads, Freelance Hellraiser and Snow Patrol.
While still operating under the Headgear nom de guerre, Dukes is currently concentrating on recording an album with Rory Carlile under the Wasted Youth Orchestra banner.
Also putting pen to paper this week are the winners of the 2005 DIT Battle Of The Bands, Jemson Green, who’ve allied themselves to Liverpool independent Chromium Records. Expect a single, album and tour of Northwest England before the end of the summer.
