Dustin The Turkey duets with Chris De Burgh
Forget Lennon-McCartney, Strummer-Jones and Barat-Doherty, there’s no musical partnership more seminal than Chris De Burgh and Dustin The Turkey.
The pair join forces on a new version of the former’s ‘Patrica The Stripper’.
Explaining how the liaison came about, the Turkey (that’s Dustin) says: “Crispy has been chasing me for years. To be honest it was getting a bit embarrassing, especially when I’d be calling up to his gaff to see Rosanna.
"So eventually I caved in and agreed to give the ol’ fella a hand out. To be fair to him it was a great idea getting me on board – the song itself is pretty brutal but at least my beautiful vocals make it listenable.”
All proceeds from its November 4 release go to the ISPCC. The parent album, Bling When You’re Minging, follows a week later as is obviously up there with the Sgt. Peppers, Pet Sounds and Neverminds of this world.
