Hothouse Flowers deny rumours of a split

Hothouse Flowers have quashed rumours that they've split up.

Reads an official statement: "The band is still very much together and on the verge of announcing a major American tour and album release for October. Bass player Peter O'Toole is, however, taking some personal time out."

All of which means you'll be able to see the Flowers on August 8 when they play the Woodstock festival in Kilkenny.
