Hot Press’ Olaf Tyaransen sat down with the Irish singer this April to chat about her new album, Life. Love. Flesh. Blood. When asked if the personal material on the album was hard to sing, May said, “I haven’t toured it yet so I’ll have to let you know...I have a feeling they might be, but that’s a part of it I think. We’ll see if I’m messed up by it or not. I’ll see how that goes, but it could be therapeutic. I don’t know. I just knew I had to write it. I had to write honestly.”
Now, she’s ready to bring her confessional album on the road.
