The Phil Lynott statue was re- unveiled this morning at a packed ceremony outside Bruxelles on Harry Street.
Philomena Lynott did the official honours and gave an emotional speech thanking the fans for their overwhelming support over the years and Dublin City Council for their help.
The proceedings started with a blistering set from Phil fans and top musicians Jimmy Coup and Keith Grogan who entertained with stellar versions of 'Dublin', 'Cowboy Song', 'The Boys Are Back In Town' and 'Sarah'.
The live music was followed by words of thanks and praise from Dublin City Council Area Manager Frank Lambe, Councillor Mary Friel (representing the Lord Mayor) and Audrey O'Neill from The Roisin Dubh Trust.
Spotted amongst the throngs were former Thin Lizzy manager Frank Murray, Vibe organiser Smiley Bolger, ex-Thin Lizzy roadie Gerry Jago, musicians Cait O'Riordan and Brian Kennedy, Phil Lynott Exhibition Organiser Peter Emmet and HP's Roisin Dwyer.

The memorial sustained two serious cracks when it was knocked from its plinth in the early morning of May 10. The fully restored statue has improved foundations to ensure a similar incident does not occur again.
