It's official - the festive season is over, and dreary Janaury is upon us. However, a brand new year means exciting things happening in the Irish music industry.
This week, Whelan's and The Village on Wexford St play host to 'Ones to Watch 2011' - a showcase of upcoming Irish talent. More than 30 acts will play over 4 days (January 12 - 15), among them Thread Pulls, Grand Pocket Orchestra, Strait Laces, We Should Be Dead (pictured), Lisa O Neill, Cashier No 9, and many more.
