My Perogative
You know a pop career is very much on the wind-down when you’ve to turn to Bobby Brown for creative support.
You know a pop career is very much on the wind-down when you’ve to turn to Bobby Brown for creative support. Obviously, even Britney’s A&R people are so sick of her fake-sexy watery vocals if they’re forcing her to cover this diabolical, disposable track. Even more oddly, the production of the single is curiously pre-millennial and so hackneyed that it would make the Backstreet Boys blush. You’d think that remixers Armand Van Helden and X-Press 2 snatch into this disaster of a single from the jaws of defeat, but even their versions of the single are embarrassingly rough-shod. Hideous stuff altogether.
