Low
Obviously hanging extensively with Queens Of The Stone Age has rubbed off on Dave Grohl and brought him back to his roots, for this is a brooding, menacing piece of work, and as such in start contrast to more accessible Foo singles like ‘Times Like These’. It appears that whichever way the wind blows, the Foos can’t put a foot wrong these days. The guitar riff is pure genius, whilst Taylor Hawkin’s drumming meshes perfectly with the axe-work to create a majestic rock record that will sound incredible against the backdrop of Slane Castle later this year.
