Here comes the reign
"If you missed them, you did so at your peril":
Kings Of Leon
You have to hand it to the On Stage crowd… they certainly know how to make visiting dignitaries feel special. It’s the first time Kings Of Leon bring their redneck-a-delic rock sound to Ireland, yet they’re treated like long lost friends. With hair immaculately askew, snake hips encased in skintight cords and impressively unfashionable facial hair, they are a band almost more reminiscent of Creedence Clearwater Revival than their rock tabloid contemporaries, yet they exude cool in a way that has to be seen to be believed. As for the music, ‘What I Saw’ could well be the soundtrack to this, the most laid back, sexed up and sunniest weekend of the year. If you missed them, you did so at your peril.
