Wall Of Sound’s 100th release is a bit hit and miss. The cluttered original features Afrika Bambatta on shouty vocals over a messy breakbeat/house bed. West London Deep up the ante with a cool 303 version, while Jon Carter turns it into a tribal tech-house stomp with scary FX and a speedy-uppy breakdown.

The original's a fairly unlistenable Jagz Kooner-esque romp featuring The Chuckle Brothers aka Alan Vega and Bobby Gillespie. The big beats remain, but the hip-hop nods have been replaced by an almost industrial dirge. The diskoid Padded Cell remix of 'Boy Bitten' is far more palatable.
