The last time I saw Fight Like Apes, their performance was a little ramshackle, to say the least. The four-piece looked like they needed a few weeks off, and quite frankly, we were concerned that one of our favourite bands might be burned out.

Like the rest of the tracks on the release, it was written in 2004, and though we’ll lap it up because they’re Yeah Yeah Yeahs and they can do what they like and we’ll love it, one can’t help but wish they’d taken this opportunity to show off their post-Show Your Bones wisdom instead.
