Eukahoused
Eukahouse and a handful of other like minded labels were responsible for some of the UK's finest dance music in 2000.
Eukahouse and a handful of other like minded labels were responsible for some of the UK's finest dance music in 2000. Mixed by label boss Nils Hess, Eukahoused is deep and soulful, at times quirky, but never loses sight of its primary objective, to entertain. Opening with the deep, atmospheric and tripped out textures of Silver Lining, Get Fucked vs. Kenneth Graham and Soul Doubt, 'Eukahoused' moves into the haunting 'Mary Mac' by The Real and more dubby, tribal contributions, from the likes of Terry Francis. Asad Rizvi's quirky breaks mix of Kurtis Blow's 'The Breaks' is also included, proof that Eukahouse aren't afraid of flirting with grooves beyond the limiting 4/4 pattern and are one of the true flag bearers of the open minded, tech-house attitude.
