Burning Your House Down
Rockabilly trio evoke The Cramps, New York Dolls
For the uninitiated, punk/rockabilly royalty the Jim Jones Revue sound like the bastard offspring of the Big Bopper, Jerry Lee Lewis and The Cramps. Their three-minute garage rock anthems give the dearly departed Rocket from the Crypt a run for their money. Burning Your House Down is their latest high octane release and it’s packed full of greased up, raucous numbers that raise the tempo and lower the tone. The likes of ‘Dishonest John’ and ‘Big Len’ explode from the speakers like the New York Dolls in their hey-day and there is no filler whatsoever on this incendiary addition to Jones’ legacy.
Key Track: 'Big Len'
