The Hot Press Newsdesk, 08 Feb 2002

The phenomenally successful Limerick band manage to incorporate both cinematic and charitable pursuits with their new single, Time Is Ticking Out.
Taken from their recent fifth album Wake Up and Smell The Coffee, the video for the single features singer Dolores wandering through a surreally animated sunflower-strewn landscape, giving lyrical vent to the ills of a polluted planet. The song, also included on the soundtrack to new Disney film ‘Clockstoppers’, will be released as a single on February 15th - just ahead of The Cranberries world tour, which kicks off in Copenhagen on February 17th and takes in most of Europe and North America.
And, in a news development yesterday, the Cranberries have announced that all proceeds from the single will be donated to the Chernobyl Children’s Project, of which Dolores has long been a supporter.
Further tidings from the Cranberries camp: although their boxed set release date has been postponed until April, we can look forward to at least 21 extra tracks as well as all of the band’s original albums.
But if you can't possibly hang on eight weeks, never despair. Enter to win the single and album now. And take a time-out to watch the new video: just click below...
