The second weekend of his mini Irish tour sees him taking it live, at Roisin Dubh on Friday, September 21, before packing up the gear to finish it off at the Sugar Club (22). In Cork, representing the sounds of dubstep and experimental dance, you’ll find DubCulture Records. They’ve been promoting mega parties for nearly five years. Now they’re at it again, this time bringing over none other than Swamp 81 label head and DJ supreme Loefah, aka Peter Livingston! Known as a pioneer in the worldwide dubstep, sub–cultural bass scene, Loefah is a hot DJ commodity. He is the founder of the now infamous DMZ brand with partners Mala and Coki and has hosted the outputs on his award-winning label from Boddika, Instra:mental, Kryptic Minds, Skream, Pinch, Ramadanman, Addison Groove and FaultyDL. Dublin night Melodic has been going strong since launching last December. Run by DJ duo Mulljoy, aka Simon Kingston and Shane Mullin, the melody-driven monthly has seen the likes of Edu Imbernon, Tim Green, Los Suruba, Dosem and Negru all adding their magic.
