Michael Fassbender's stunt double performs the series iconic leap of faith, smashing a 35 year old record in the process.
The forthcoming Assassin's creed film adaptation is based on Ubisoft's successful parkour/historical fiction video game. One of the most iconic images from the game is the 'Leap of Faith', a death defying dive from the tops of a high building.
To replicate this in the film adaptation Michael Fassbender's stunt double, Damien Walters performed a 125 free fall, the highest attempted in 35 years.
The all time record for the highest free fall is currently held by Dar Robinson, who fell 200 feet for his film, The World's Most Spectacular Stuntman.
Assassin's creed will be in cinemas in December
