4 Dame Lane was the venue playing host to the HTC One Hot Press "Most Personal Experience" with Royseven gig, to help find an overall winner of the HTC One Hot Press Photojournalist competition. The venue was decorated with balloons, HTC One phones, HTC One posters and of course – lighting up the venue with their flashes on their new HTC One handsets – were the 12 final shortlist of talented photographers.
Starting a bit earlier than expected, due to a very well organised and fan-filled event, Royseven took to the stage and opened up the gig with their song ‘Every Line’. Within seconds of the first notes and chords being played the crowd began to get on their feet to dance. And also the 12 finalists of the HTC One Hot Press Photojournalist competition were on their feet, knees, elbows, on chairs and tables trying to grab some shots of Royseven on their new HTC Ones.
After Royseven had finished playing a very energetic gig, the roof was lifted with the cheering and applauding of the fan-filled room. As I got talking to Guitarist Eamonn Barrett after the show he explained to me how he thought “the gig was brilliant with an amazing crowd and with a sexy tight sound to the venue”. Royseven, who have recently released their new album You Say, We Say, are one band not to miss out on, as they are an energy-filled band with a very friendly attitude.
