The folk rock revival rumbles on with the Denver-based Lumineers, a band who look constantly prepared for a hoedown in a barn. Having toured with Mumford & Sons, they seem set for a similar crossover, thanks chiefly to the massive success of high-charting single 'Ho Hey', which became somewhat ubiquitous in 2012. Its parent album, The Lumineers, was released last April and has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Americana Album category. The band, comprising Wes Schultz, Jeremiah Fraites and Neyla Pekarek, are also nominated for Best New Artist. HP's John Walshe said of their set at The Civil Wars' Olympia headliner: "Quite simply, the best support act I’ve ever witnessed."
