If she's got a particularly sharp memory, your gran might recognise brother act Hudson Taylor from the 2009 series of RTÉ's All-Ireland Talent Show, where some bright spark called Shane Lynch sent them packing in favour of a contemporary dancer with a better sob story. Not to worry, though. Four years later, Alfie and Harry Hudson, 18 and 20 respectively, are back on our screens with a bagful of new songs, some terribly smart haircuts and a sound to rival Mumford And Sons' biggest hits. You only have to scan the charts to see that their folk/pop/acoustic fusion is nothing new, but thanks to some earthy, uplifting melodies and two surprisingly rugged croons, we find ourselves falling harder than before.
